What Diet Should I Choose?

Updated: Apr 26, 2021

We've often heard that being a vegan or a nutritarian is the proper way to eat.

Let me give you my 2 cents.

Yes a nutritarian is the way we should eat in this climate and that should be the goal!

Reaching it however is rather difficult. The term food addiction is real, it's not about always wanting to eat food but wanting to eat certain kinds of foods (processed foods) regularly. We at OASA'S Products understand that this is a journey and we should always meet people where they are at. So I understand if being a nutritarian isn't attainable at this time, so let's set achievable goals.

For example one may love to eat beef, pork, & seafood (shrimp, crab, lobster) on the regular, 1st we must address the main elephant in the room...the America Diet is poisons. We are not made to eat meat 3 times a day. If you don't believe me look around you, how many people are actually fit by doing so?

We must reduce our consumption of meat, we can start by consuming it once a day. We just also address what kinds of meat we consume. If you eat beef, pork, & certain kinds of seafood on the regular you are setting yourself up for more illnesses and ailments down the line. Issues like obesity, high blood pressure, blood sugar imbalances, & high cholesterol to name a few. We must seriously understand we are not made to eat meat at the level we were taught to eat. Yes I understand the bible says we can eat meet but it also says in Ezekiel 4:10 to eat meat "from time to time". Eat poultry & fish without frying them (the oils we cook them in goes straight to our hips and stomach).

Finally we must address WHEN we eat, give your body time to heal and rest during the evening. This can be done by eating dinner between 5 & 6. You can drink a chamomile tea as well taking some magnesium before bed to help your body relax.

This may seem hard but it's quite achievable, if you are working, most do not eat as much during the day. We just eat processed foods when we do eat. Try focusing more on consuming more vegetables & fruits than processed food. The ratio should be 80-20 fora good balance. Add vitamins & mineral supplements such as Selenium, Magnesium, Calcium, Iodine (with Kelp), & Zinc. Fast periodically and detox your system every 3 months. This will allow you to maintain a healthier lifestyle and drop the weight. You must always do some form of exercise to allow your body to burn off the food that was consumed and remove any toxins within your body. Try 25 jumping jacks in the morning.

Although some may not be ready or even achieve the nutritarian lifestyle, we can still make changes to our nutrition that will benefit our health.
